Paint Your Guts Out!(c) Facilitator
Montine Blank
"Everyone was born to create, to live life with passion and zest. As kids we colored and expressed spontaneously, but as 'real world' adults, we find ourselves busily working towards deadlines and final products without a sense of being present or enjoying our tasks. We rarely find the time or space to relax and let our creativity ease through, and sometimes we even forget how.
"My journey with this process has been an incredible gift. Expressing freely with images and colors, I have reawakened the artist I left behind in childhold, decoded mysteries from my dream-like images, and developed a thirst for openness and wholeness in my life."
Montine combines degrees in Human & Organizational Development (B.S., Vanderbilt University) and a Masters in International Business (MIBS, University of South Carolina) with a Certification in Transformational Process Painting from 'Painting from the Source' to administer and facilitate classes and workshops.
Into the Process Painting classes, Montine incorporates aspects from "The Artists Way" by Julia Cameron, "Life, Paint & Passion" co-authored by Michele Cassou and Stewart Cubley, and "Painting from the Source" by Aviva Gold. In designing and co-leading corporate team-building program, she utilizes her education and eight years experience in Change Management and Global Communications with Accenture, where she managed internal communications and produced virtual training workshops for executives.
